Technology Update at 77th Shock & Vibration Symposium

The 77th Shock & Vibration Symposium will be held October 29 to November 2 at the Hyatt Regency Monterey, Monterey, CA. Established in 1947, the symposium provides information on the response of structures and materials to vibration and shock. Over 200 papers are scheduled for classified and unclassified technical sessions and 11 panel discussions have been scheduled on a wide variety of subjects.

Tutorials provide up-to-date technology overviews by leading specialists. A preliminary program of 13 tutorials will be held on Sunday, October 29, with 15 more scheduled for the following day.

Exhibits will open this year on Tuesday, October 31 immediately following the opening session and will remain open until 5:00 p.m. The area will reopen on Wednesday morning at 7:30 a.m., closing at 5:00 p.m. to enable setup in the exhibit area for the evening social event. Additional program information is available by visiting: www.saviac.org.

Selected companies and organizations that will be exhibiting are listed below. Please use the Reader-Service Card in this issue to request information from any of the exhibitors listed. We will forward your request to the exhibitors.
