Deutz introduces 2012 power packs

Deutz Corp. has introduced the 2012 series, a new line of diesel power packs. Packaged for use in pump and other stationary packages, as well as irrigation and job site industrial and construction applications, the new modules are rated from 80 to 208 hp at 2500 rpm. These factory packages will be sold primarily through the Deutz distribution network, with some direct sales as well.

Two of the new power units are powered by turbocharged Deutz four-cylinder model 2012 diesels, with one version also being charge-air cooled. The third package uses a turbocharged, charge-air cooled six-cylinder 2012 diesel as power.

The 2012 power pack series has a modular design that allows flexibility for all options. The line is available in thee configuration; open pedestal mounted; open skid base package with shroud; or as a closed power pack. All will be available with PTO clutches.

Each of the models includes pedestal mounts, a 12 V starter and alternator and an air cleaner with rain cap. The cooling system from SRF America, is an industrial cooling system with open type fins, soldered/welded end sections with an integrated pressurized expansion tank and coolant level switch, with v-belt guard. Coolant temperature, oil pressure switch and sensor are standard.
