Nissan Industrial Engines - Alternatives

Nissan Industrial Engines, Zenith Fuel Systems and DCL International announced that ongoing durability data has shown that Nissan's 2.5 L industrial engine with the ZEEMS electronic management system and a DCL catalyst gives equipment manufacturers a generous safety factor in meeting 2004 large spark-ignited emissions regulations. The engine also meets 2007 EPA standards for state-state emissions, with readings 50 percent below required standards, according to the companies. Testing was performed with DCL catalysts aged over 6000 hours using the 2004 EPA LSI engine LPG C2 test protocol. Test results indicated that the Nissan engine so equipped offered low emissions and gasoline results were comparable to LPG.
